LEAD PASTOR

I was born into a loving pastor's family.  At the age of 18, I experienced a new birth and became a member in the local Mennonite Church.  My parent's godly example and balanced lifestyle positively influenced my response to God's call to ministry.   After graduating from Bible College and University in Paraguay, my wife and I moved to BC Canada.  We enrolled in Regent College in the MDiv. Program, to further our theological and ministry training.  Presently, I serve as lead Pastor here at Eben-Ezer Mennonite Church and am also responsible for the German-speaking members of our congregation.  My wife Angelika and I enjoy our family consisting of 3 adult boys, a daughter in-law, and one grandson.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

I joined the staff at Eben-Ezer in 2009 as Church Administrator. I resigned my position in 2016 to join my husband in retirement. I have continued to work on and off at the church doing holiday relief and special projects since my retirement. My current role at the church is Administrative Assistant and I work 1 1/2 days a week. I enjoy my time at the church with the staff and members.
My husband Joe and I have 2 sons. We enjoy camping, long walks and road trips.

ADMINISTRATOR

I joined the staff at Eben-Ezer Mennonite Church in 2016 in the role of Office Administrator.  It brings me joy to serve in this capacity by overseeing the administrative and bookkeeping requirements of the church and connecting with and developing relationships with the members.
My husband and I moved to Abbotsford in 1994 where we gave our lives to follow Christ in 1998 after being mentored through a small bible study group led by Arthur and Edna Isaac of Clearbrook MB Church.   We were married the following year in 1999 at Aldergrove Baptist Church.  We have raised 3 wonderful sons together and pray daily for their salvation and desire to follow Christ. 
We enjoy spending time with family and friends, vacationing and being outdoors where we enjoy camping, kayaking and relaxing by the water in our spare time.

MUSIC & WORSHIP

As the Worship & Music Coordinator at Eben-Ezer Mennonite Church, my mission is to plan meaningful times of worship that focus on God and His saving acts through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Together with our ministry teams, we desire that worship will nurture and encourage the whole congregation to live out their commitment to God and His church in their daily lives.  As stated in the Eben-Ezer Vision statement, our upward focus in WORSHIP will enable us to grow as a discerning COMMUNITY that reaches out with the good news to fulfill God's COMMISSION, so that healing and hope will flow through us to the world.  An important part of my mandate is to encourage and foster the music, drama, and speaking gifts of young and older volunteers in our bilingual congregation. Classical and church music have always been my passion, and I am thankful for the kind support of my husband Ron, and the love of our two daughters and their families.
